Hi, I’m Nathan the owner and Crane Operator of ACTA Crane Hire.
Over the last 20 years, I’ve been perfecting my ability as a crane operator in the Dorset area ever since I started working in the industry as an apprentice when I was 16 years old.
I fully understand how important it is for customers to choose a company that has a wealth of experience and know-how, which is something that ACTA Crane Hire has in abundance.
I have continued to improve my practises so as to ensure that Bournemouth and Poole clients get the best possible service when they reach out to me for crane hire solutions. I have worked on many challenging projects throughout Dorset in the past, so I’m confident in being able to deliver excellent results to Bournemouth and Poole clients in the future.

Crane Hire
At ACTA Crane Hire our cranes have the ability to lift a variety of loads at multiple distances and we are confident that we will be able to assist you with your lifting needs.
We have two large lorry mounted cranes:
- Fassi 800 and a fly jib with up to 29 metres reach, 1.4 tonne at 26 metres
- Hiab 700 with fly jib with up to 22 metres reach

Transportation
ACTA can also provide transportation hire, which means our customers have the flexibility to save valuable time not having to arrange additional transportation.
Skills & Qualifications
I am fully CPCS qualified, and I’m extremely confident and competent when working as any of the following;
- Slinger / Signaller
- Crane Supervisor
- Appointed person
